Ryan Gravenberch who was very instrumental in the match, passed the perfect ball to Gakpo, who due to his quick sense and understanding helped Dominik Szoboszlai. The Hungarian midfielder was perfect with his decision by firing past Maignan and making it 2-0 for Liverpool.
Liverpool emphasized attacking fluidity, and Szoboszlai’s goal was a perfect example of this, with Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, and Alexis Mac Allister leading the midfield with their skill and aggression.
Substitutions and Tactical Tweaks
Arne Slot used tactical substitutions during the match in an effort to ensure that Liverpool remained on top. The substitution was made at the 68th minute where Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz replaced Jota Gakpo.
